Sirona has launched an extended range of straight and contra-angle handpieces.
The dental technology firm has upgraded its model series T1 Classic and T1 Line devices in the Premium class and introduced the T2 Line series in the Comfort class.
A powerful motor is integrated into the front part of the T1 Classic series' light titanium sleeves, while both upgraded T1 ranges have been ergonomically designed to make the handpieces perfectly balanced.
Sirona claims the comfortable grip of the T2 Line's titanium sleeves allows dental professionals to work free of fatigue.
Frank Peichl, product manager at Sirona, said: "Only straight and contra-angle handpieces which fit well in the hand and can be easily guided ensure precise operating results.
"This was our main focus when it came to product development."
Last month, Sirona was ranked third in the league table of Germany's most innovative companies, with the award presented by project mentor and journalist Ranga Yogeshwar.
