Systagenix Adaptive Touch ‘delivers excellent results’

11th July 2012

Systagenix's Adaptive Touch dressing has been hailed as offering excellent results to riders in this year's ongoing Tour de France.

Dr Richard Freeman, part of Sky's medical team for the event, noted the soothing effects of the non-adhesive specialised dressing, highlighting its suitability in treating the high-speed accidents that many riders suffer as part of the tour.

He said: "Patient confidentiality prevents me from giving details on specific riders, but I can say that the riders who have used them have found them much more comfortable than other dressings."

Dr Freeman added that no matter how bad the wounds have been for riders this year, the dressing has performed admirably, with the medical team suitably impressed by Systagenix's product range.

The company provides specialist treatments for wound care and develops many of its cutting-edge products at the Gargrave Centre of Excellence for Wound Healing in North Yorkshire, where its UK research department is based.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801405364-ADNFCR
