Nephew holds investor seminar

Smith & Nephew has held an institutional investor and analyst seminar in London, with a number of high-profile keynote speakers addressing attendees.
The event took place at the Royal College of Surgeons on July 3rd and was entitled Joint Reconstruction: future scenarios.
Tennis legend and knee replacement patient Billie Jean King addressed the audience, alongside professor of reconstructive medicine at the University of Twente Daniel Saris and Stephane Thiroloix, Smith & Nephew's president of advanced surgical devices for Europe.
Broadcast live via the internet, the event examined the portfolio of options being offered by the firm to its partners for use in knee replacement scenarios and also looked at future developments in this area.
The company presently employs approximately 11,000 members of staff in 90 countries around the world and delivered annual sales in excess of $4.3 billion (2.7 billion pounds) last year.
It is listed on a number of the biggest stock exchanges across the globe, including the FTSE 100 in London and the New York Stock Exchange.
