Sanofi has announced that 13 of its employees are due to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust by climbing Mount Snowdon this week.
The ascent of the tallest peak in Wales will take place on Thursday July 12th as part of the Sanofi Inspires campaign, with the team hoping to generate more than £1,000 for the charity.
They will aim to complete the 3,560-foot ascent in less than seven hours.
John Solomon, head of pharmacovigilance for Sanofi in the UK and Ireland, commented: "The aim of Sanofi Inspires is to push yourself and achieve something great while raising funds for a very worthy charity."
Head of corporate fundraising at the Teenage Cancer Trust Tom Marshall added that the company's support will "make a genuine difference to the lives of young people diagnosed with cancer".
A number of other Sanofi Challenge events have already taken place this year, including a three-day paddle across Loch Ness and a bicycle ride along Hadrian's Wall.
