Langland claims lion's share at IPA Best of Health Awards
4 July 2012 16:31 in Marketing Services
Langland has claimed a total of 31 accolades at the annual Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) Best of Health Awards.
The agency won more awards than any other company on the night, with prizes for best use of copywriting and best integrated idea, as well as six silver gongs and 23 bronze awards.
Additionally, Langland's senior account manager Whitney Andrews earned an individual recognition, claiming a commendation in the Young Talent award category.
Andrew Spurgeon, creative director at Langland, said this year's awards highlighted the need for more integrated ideas that are able to drive meaningful conversations that bridge traditional communications channels.
He explained that with barriers between content and advertising continuing to blur at present, there is a growing need to "push a little harder towards work that challenges both the expectations of the audience and the category".
This comes after Langland also recently announced that it will be working with the British Skin Foundation on a new disease awareness campaign.
