Virgo recognised at Sabre and CIPR Awards
Virgo Consumer Health has won an award and a nomination at this year's Sabre Awards, as well as being shortlisted for a CIPR Excellence Award.
The company's Footlight on Scholl initiative was named the best public relations campaign for a medical device at the 2012 Sabres, while its Joint Health of the Nation campaign for Seven Seas was a finalist in the best public relations campaign for a medical device category.
Meanwhile, its work on the XLS-Medical Fat Binder launch was also shortlisted for a CIPR Excellence Award in recent days.
Anna Kovaleva, brand manager for Scholl UK, praised Virgo's Sabre-winning campaign for the quality and quantity of coverage it provided, which helped to exceed targets and create a direct impact on sales.
Sian Boisseau, director of Virgo Consumer Health, said: "These campaigns demonstrate the value that can be achieved by using resourceful, hardworking and integrated tactics to increase brand exposure and consumer engagement that results in great sales."
This comes after Virgo Health was recognised by the Great Places to Work Institute as one of the top small workplaces in Britain earlier this month.
