Thornton and Ross is carrying out a new marketing campaign to promote its bestselling Care range of over-the-counter (OTC) healthcare products.
The company is spending a six-figure sum on the new advertising initiative, which commenced last month and encompasses online, print and PR channels, including the launch of a new website and the distribution of pharmacy support materials.
It focuses on promoting the core range of Care products, including Care Allergy Defence Nasal Spray and the topical gel Care ViraSoothe, reports Chemist and Druggist.
The Care range includes more than 80 products and is set to see its volume sales exceed 15 million units this year.
Care senior brand manager at Thornton and Ross Leanne Doughty said: "The fact our pharmacy remedies are chosen more than any other OTC brand in the UK … demonstrates just how much our customers appreciate our commitment to providing quality care at great value."
Thornton and Ross is the largest independent pharmaceutical manufacturer in the UK and has been operating since 1922.
