Hill and Knowlton Strategies has announced the appointment of Alex Menzies as its new head of content and production.
Mr Menzies, a director at The 10 Group, has been appointed to the newly-created dedicated role in order to take charge of the agency's content-related campaigns, working with internal teams on development, content-led strategy and advising clients on product placement opportunities.
He is a former commissioning executive and features head at BBC One, BBC Two and Channel 5, while he has worked with clients such as Procter and Gamble and Adidas in his role with The 10 Group.
Richard Millar, chief executive officer of Hill and Knowlton in the UK and Europe, said: "The shift in media consumption is well-recognised and increasingly there is a need to produce engaging and relevant digital content for clients."
Earlier this year, the company strengthened its European leadership team by appointing Jeroen van Seeters, Ingo Heijnen and Thomas Tindemans to key roles.
