Euro RSCG Life has appointed Claire Dobbs to the role of managing director of its London office.
Ms Dobbs joins the organisation from PAN Advertising and will be in charge of overall performance and management, working alongside vice-president for PR Cori Blair, who was appointed in September 2011, reports PRWeek.
During an eight-year spell with PAN Advertising, she helped to transform the agency into a major global player, with companies such as Roche and GlaxoSmithKline joining its client roster.
She began her career as a medical rep and has moved through a series of marketing roles, with other past employers including Grey Healthcare and IMS Health.
"There's been a change in healthcare from the traditional to a multichannel approach and this [move] is part of that strategy," she explained.
Euro RSCG Life operates in more than 50 countries and works with some of the world's biggest pharmaceutical companies, including Novartis, Pfizer, Sanofi, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Shire.
