Nobel Biocare has highlighted a number of new product innovations and corporate announcements at the Europerio periodontology conference earlier this month.
During the event in Vienna, the company unveiled OsseoCare Pro, an innovative drill motor developed alongside Bien-Air Dental that can be operated using Apple's iPad tablet.
In addition to this launch, the company took the opportunity to showcase its recently released NobelReplace Platform Shift, NobelReplace Conical Connection and NobelActive 3.0 implants, as well as its NobelClinician Software.
Data from a long-term ten-year study of the high-performance implant surface TiUnite was also demonstrated, showing that immediately-loaded implants with a TiUnite surface placed in both post-extractive and healed sites achieve excellent survival rates.
Finally, Nobel Biocare used the occasion to announce the dates of its Global Symposium 2013, which will be held in New York from June 20th to 22nd.
According to the firm's most recent fiscal report, Nobel Biocare generated first-quarter revenue of 147.6 million euros (119.47 million pounds), up by 2.8 percent year on year in local currency terms.
