Dechra launches pet ear health support material

Dechra Veterinary Products is launching a range of support materials that will help vets to educate their customers on pet ear health.

Introduced as part of the company's It's Time to Change campaign, the information includes a leaflet for owners on how to treat their pet's ear infection, as well as a guide to effective ear cleaning that is also available in video form.

The It's Time to Change scheme is currently focused on otitis externa and offers best practice guidelines and information on ear disease in cats and dogs, as well as support in choosing the correct approach to control.

Larry King, senior brand manager at Dechra Veterinary Products, said: "This extensive range of new material will help veterinary professionals raise client awareness of ear infections and also help owners understand why ear health is important."

Last month, the company hailed the success of a recent continuous professional development session on animal wound care it sponsored in Lisburn, with the event giving the company the opportunity to provide information on healing products such as Celox Veterinary and Advancis.
