Virgo Health named among top small workplaces in UK

Virgo Health has been recognised by the Great Places to Work Institute as one of the top small workplaces in Britain.

The agency ranked fourth overall in the institute's best small workplace programme, marking the third consecutive year in which Virgo has made the list.

An expert panel of judges recognised the company for the trust in management among its employees and the pride taken by staff in their roles, as well as the level of enjoyment workers glean from interacting with colleagues.

By finishing fourth, Virgo climbed three places from its ranking in the 2011 survey.

Anna Parfitt, HR director at Virgo Health, said: "Our aim is for Virgo to continue to be a great environment for people to work and to nurture our team to provide our clients the very highest levels of expertise and service."

Earlier this year, the company's consumer health division won the best OTC public relations campaign for a medicine at the OTC Marketing Awards, thanks to work carried out on behalf of Boehringer Ingelheim.
