Simplyhealth ranked among Social Brands Top 100

31 May 2012 15:16 in Dental Supplier News

Simplyhealth has claimed a position in the second annual Social Brands Top 100 ranking, which is compiled to recognise social media performance among UK companies.

The dental and health insurance company took 88th position in the list having initially been nominated via Twitter, before its social media strategy was analysed in greater depth by a panel of expert industry judges.

Key criteria on which the firm was adjudged to have performed well included its ability to create mutually beneficial relationships with audiences, its willingness to listen to social media clients and the creation of an authentic, transparent brand identity.

Simplyhealth has responded positively to the announcement, describing it as a vindication of its active investment in social media over the past year.

Clare Lee, head of brand and digital marketing at Simplyhealth, said: "We plan to continue to build on our social media offering … which will enable us to have conversations with our customers about their healthcare journey using a medium relevant to their needs."

Earlier this month, the company announced that it has provided a donation of 1,500 pounds to the British Heart Foundation to support its charitable projects.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801376303-ADNFCR
