Burson-Marsteller appoints new director to Brand Marketing Practice

23rd May 2012

Burson-Marsteller has announced the appointment of Veena Raj as a new director and media strategist in its Global Consumer and Brand Marketing Practice.

Ms Raj was previously vice-president of media relations at MSLGroup, where she worked on strategies with major brands such as Procter & Gamble, Tiffany & Co and Kellogg's.

Lisa Travatello, chair of Burson-Marsteller's Global Consumer and Brand Marketing Practice and creative director, welcomed the new director to the team and said she was "excited" by her appointment.

"Veena's expertise developing results-driven media relations strategies that engage consumers, drive conversation and elevate brands will be an incredible asset," Ms Travatello commented.

Ms Raj, who has a degree in human services and Spanish from George Washington University, has also previously worked at boutique PR agency Dan Klores Communications.

Her appointment follows Burson-Marsteller's recent announcement that Michelle Stevenson will take over as managing director in its US Consumer and Brand Marketing Practice.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801369953-ADNFCR
