Elsevier appoints CPM Resource Center president

Elsevier has announced the appointment of Hajo Oltmanns as the new president of its Elsevier CPM Resource Center unit.
Mr Oltmanns, who has been with the company since 2007, will spearhead the development and expansion of the clinical decision support (CDS) tools specialist and the associated CPM International Consortium.
He is the former senior vice-president of strategy and business development at Elsevier Health Sciences and has worked across all of the company's international business units as part of its executive strategy team.
Jay Katzen, managing director for clinical decision support and payer solutions at Elsevier, said: "Hajo's experience and understanding of healthcare will help grow this business, empowering our customers to achieve measureable, sustainable success through the implementation of evidence-based CDS and professional practice expertise."
Last week, the company also appointed Jim Donohue as managing director of its global clinical reference group to support the launch of the groundbreaking new clinical insight engine ClinicalKey.
