Parexel to advise emerging biopharma firms during new symposia

Parexel will be conducting symposia later this month to provide essential development insights to emerging and mid-size biopharmaceutical companies.

The pharmaceutical services provider will be holding the half-day symposia on April 26th and 27th 2012 in Copenhagen and Stockholm respectively, and will aim to offer guidance on the best ways of achieving clinical and commercial success.

Experts from Parexel will meet with company representatives to discuss approaches to maximising efficiencies and supporting more effective decision-making, including adapting technology and improving the use of data.

Further advice will be provided on the growing trend of adaptive trial planning, which could offer a beneficial alternative to traditional methods of study organisation.

Parexel states that its guidance can help "biopharmaceutical companies of all sizes accelerate product development, reduce costs, mitigate risk and achieve their business objectives".

Last month, the organisation published results from a survey showing a high level of concern among pharmaceutical companies over their own current commercial strategies.
