3M appoints new vice-president and treasurer
3M has announced the appointment of Scott Krohn to the role of vice-president and treasurer.
Mr Krohn will take up his new position on May 1st 2012 and has been selected as the successor to the outgoing Janet Yeomans, who will be retiring from the business on August 1st following a 29-year career.
The new treasurer joins 3M from Ford Motor Company, where he most recently served as director of debt capital markets funding, while prior roles also include financial strategy director and treasurer for China and Venezuela.
David Meline, 3M's senior vice-president and chief financial officer, thanked Ms Yeomans for her contributions over the last three decades, while welcoming Mr Krohn as a valuable new asset.
He added: "Scott's impressive treasury experience and global perspective qualify him well to lead our treasury organisation and help drive value creation across the company."
This follows the appointment of Marlene McGrath to the role of senior vice-president for human resources earlier this month.
