Kimberly-Clark named in Ethisphere’s most ethical companies list

22nd March 2012

Kimberly-Clark has been included in the 2012 ranking of the world's most ethical companies, compiled by the Ethisphere Institute business thinktank.

The health and personal care company made the list following a review of hundreds of applicants by the institute, which assessed criteria such as codes of ethics, litigation and regulatory infraction histories, corporate citizenship efforts and innovation investment.

In including Kimberly-Clark on the list, Ethisphere offered praise for the company's "industry-leading commitment to ethics and dedication to integrity".

This comes after the firm was also recently named one of the world's 25 best multinational workplaces, while it has also been recognised as one of the 100 best corporate citizens by Corporate Responsibility magazine for three straight years.

Tom Falk, chairman and chief executive officer of Kimberly-Clark, said: "Creating a culture where our employees are committed to driving business results ethically and doing the right thing for our customers, our communities and the environment contributes directly to the success of our company."

Kimberly-Clark also announced this week that it will be appointing Christian Brickman as the new head of its Kimberly-Clark International business.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801324393-ADNFCR
