Waters unveils new product range at Pittcon 2012

Waters has unveiled a number of new product offerings at the annual Pittcon life science technology conference and exhibition in Orlando.

Important new offerings such as the Acquity UPC(2) separations science tool and NuGenesis 8 data management and workflow solution were showcased during the event, as well as a new product line of analytical standards and reagents.

Other products making their debut at the show included the MV-10 ASFE System, BEH125 SEC Columns and TruView LCMS Certified Vials, while a new co-marketing agreement with Protea Biosciences Group was also announced.

Pittcon represents the biggest event of the year in terms of new Waters products, with the 2012 edition being the 53rd time the company has attended.

Art Caputo, president of Waters, said: "The launch of UPC(2), NuGenesis 8 and our new line of analytical standards and reagents make this year's Pittcon one of the most exciting in years for us."

Last year, the company experienced annual sales growth of 13 percent, bringing its total revenues for 2011 to $1.85 billion (1.18 billion pounds).
