Heraeus hails positive feedback for Venus Diamond composites

Heraeus has hailed the positive reception its Venus Diamond and Venus Diamond Flow dental composite products have received from its users.

Dentists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland participated in a recent handling survey having placed more than 100,000 fillings using the nano-hybrid composites, with nearly all praising their comfortable and reliable handling.

Other attributes of the products which won praise included their pleasing aesthetic qualities and satisfactory polishing results, with the vast majority of survey participants saying they would recommend the Venus Diamond composites to others.

Heraeus stated that it will be incorporating feedback from this study into future product design efforts.

Kai Lautenschlager, group product manager for direct restorations at Heraeus, said: "We would like to thank the participants and are delighted by the praise Venus Diamond received from so many dentists … Input from our customers is very important to us."

Last week, the company announced that its Venus Bulk Fill low-stress flowable composite has been given a 4.3-star rating from leading product rating company Reality Research Lab.
