BCF Technology provides Mindray DP6900 to Animalism
BCF Technology has provided one of its Mindray DP6900 ultrasound systems to Animalism, Britain's oldest small animal practice.
The facility, which has been operating in St Albans since 1873, has purchased the unit as its first ultrasound machine, with a Lunch and Learn session taking place to brief staff on how to use the device.
Moreover, two of the site's veterinary surgeons – Mr Andre Hess and Mr Jonathan Grey – have also booked themselves on to a BCF small animal abdominal ultrasound course later this year.
"Apart from the undoubted abilities and user-friendliness of the machine, it was the attitude and approach of the BCF staff that made it achievable, doable and manageable," added Mr Hess.
Last month, BCF Technology was named veterinary distributor of the year by medical technology firm and regular BCF partner SonoSite, which provides ultrasound devices to the company for sale in the UK.
These include the Micro-Maxx, M-Turbo and Nano systems, which combine high-quality images with a compact design.
