CareFusion highlights success of Rowa Technologies in 2011

CareFusion has hailed the record-breaking performance of its Rowa Technologies division in 2011, following its acquisition by CareFusion last year.

Thanks to the strong performance of the German-based business unit over the last 12 months, more than 3,750 customers now utilise Rowa systems, with more than 50 percent of sales coming outside Germany.

CareFusion expanded the global workforce of the business to 340 following its integration, while customer satisfaction levels have been underlined by a recent PharmaRundschau magazine survey that selected Rowa as the best pharmacy partner of 2011.

Dr Christian Klas, executive director of CareFusion Rowa Technologies, said: "Being chosen as best pharmacy partner has encouraged us in our efforts to become even more customer-oriented and spurs us on to do even better in 2012."

CareFusion's acquisition of Rowa was announced in July 2011 and concluded in August, with a purchase fee of 150 million euros (124.56 million pounds) being paid.
