UCB makes changes to executive committee

3rd January 2012

UCB has announced changes to its executive committee that will see a number of staff members taking on new responsibilities.

Michele Antonelli, the current head of UCB's technical operations and quality team, will take on the role of executive vice-president and managing director for UCB France, becoming part of the European commercial operations team.

The business leader, who has considerable experience in the fields of manufacturing, supply chain operations and quality assurance, will also be appointed as chairman of the UCB Farchim board in Switzerland.

Following this appointment, which took effect at the start of January 2012, Mr Antonelli's previous technical operations mandates are to be taken over by executive vice-president and chief operating officer Mark McDade.

Fabrice Enderlin, executive vice-president for human resources and communication at UCB, said: "Michele's move is fully in line with UCB's culture to provide opportunities for people to develop and express their talent."

This comes after the company announced a restructuring of its collaborative agreement with Immunomedics last week.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801253200-ADNFCR
