Welch Allyn has been presented with four MarCom Awards by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, honouring the high standard of its recent corporate communications initiatives.
The medical technology firm was honoured with two gold awards for the writing and design of its employee newsletter Frontline, plus an additional gold award for a launch event for its Connex Vitals Signs Monitor.
Meanwhile, a platinum award was received for Welch Allyn's recent volunteer initiative A Show of Hands, which saw members of the company's staff in New York aiding charitable organisations across the US earlier this year.
Matthew Chadderdon, vice-president of marketing communications, global brand management and shareholder relations at Welch Allyn, said the MarCom recognition represents a "tremendous honour".
"We have a lot of talented individuals on our team who know how to work together for the benefit of the company, industry and community as a whole," he added.
This comes after the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals presented Welch Allyn with a Communitas Award for A Show of Hands last month.
