Pfizer Animal Health demonstrates new products at AAEP event

Pfizer Animal Health has demonstrated its latest innovations in horse health at the recent annual conference of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP).
The animal medicine company gave a number of talks during the event last month in order to help improve education standards for veterinarians and veterinary students, while offering hands-on experience with its new products, reports The Horse.
This year, the firm introduced its new wellness management service Vetstreet Equine, which has been developed in partnership with Vetstreet to help users manage client communications.
It utilises a dedicated veterinary portal for equine practices and a secure Conneqt portal for horse owners, making it easy to send and receive patient information, reminders and practice management reports.
Stuart Meikle, marketing director for Pfizer Animal Health, said: "Our presence at the AAEP Convention allowed us to introduce veterinarians to Vetstreet Equine firsthand, using live online demonstrations and directly addressing their comments and questions."
Currently, parent company Pfizer is conducting a strategic review of Pfizer Animal Health, which could result in the business unit being spun out or sold.
