The British Veterinary Association (BVA) has announced the launch of the first veterinary careers fair at next year's London Vet Show.
A partnership between the two organisations has been formed and the news was announced at this year's event, which is taking place today and tomorrow (November 24th and 25th) at the Olympia in London.
It aims to offer expert advice to students in the final year of their veterinary training, helping them to make the right choices about how to proceed with their careers.
Rob Chapman, London Vet Show event director, said: "The London Vet Show gets bigger and better every year and we are delighted to work with the BVA to launch the Careers Fair - the first of its kind in the veterinary profession."
This comes after BVA president Harvey Locke recently highlighted his concerns regarding the fact tuition fee freezes for veterinary students are not being extended to all students from Northern Ireland, which could impact negatively on the profession.
