Merck Millipore has announced the launch of the new Mobius CellReady 200 L single-use stirred tank bioreactor, for use by biopharmaceutical companies.
The latest addition to the Mobius CellReady bioreactor range integrates a number of features to deliver enhanced performance, including a unique container design, Mobius SensorReady technology and open architecture for flexibility of use.
A rigid base and top panel design enables reliable and robust installation, while the device can also be utilised as a complete turnkey solution or as a modular system, to be integrated with other platforms.
This new offering reflects the growing use of single-use technologies in the healthcare sector to accelerate the biomanufacturing process.
Paul Chapman, vice-president of biopharmaceutical process solutions at Merck Millipore, said: "Through incorporation of a full-train modular system that includes upstream technologies such as the Mobius CellReady bioreactor, maximum benefit can be realised as times are reduced, risk is minimised and market agility increases."
Earlier this month, the company announced that it will be the initial distributor of HepaRG human hepatic cells, a new offering from Biopredic.
