Elsevier’s Reaxys to support PerkinElmer E-Notebook
Elsevier has announced that its chemistry workflow solution Reaxys is to offer interoperability with the industry-leading E-Notebook from PerkinElmer.
The information services provider has collaborated with the life science company to ensure that in-house, documented proprietary research findings captured using the E-Notebook are integrated with Reaxys chemistry content from leading journals.
This will allow researchers to easily access a wealth of information and clinical data on chemical compounds and their physical and pharmacological properties, seamlessly switching between proprietary and published information.
Elsevier and PerkinElmer will be introducing this new integrated functionality free of charge for those who already have both products.
Mark van Mierle, managing director of Elsevier's pharma and biotech group, said: "In collaboration with PerkinElmer Informatics we extend Reaxys to support new workflows, benefiting the individual researcher and the organisation."
This week, the company also announced that its online research tool BrainNavigator has been upgraded to a new version that offers enhanced content and functionality, including 3D models.
