Heraeus introduces StatStone Gypsum for custom whitening trays

Heraeus has announced the introduction of StatStone Gypsum, a new product offering that allows dental practices to create their own patient-specific custom whitening trays.

Released by the company's modern materials division, the specially formulated substance is fast-setting and allows finished models to be created in less than five minutes, delivering accuracy and versatility to users.

It is recommended for use with the Venus White Pro whitening line, which has been clinically proven to lighten patients' smiles by up to 8.4 shades with virtually no increase in sensitivity.

StatStone joins a number of other gypsum and wax products in the company's portfolio, including brands such as Die-Keen, Orthodontic Plaster and Labstone.

Heraeus added: "All modern materials brands combine the finest raw materials with the most rigid, advanced manufacturing standards to deliver exceptional reliability."

This comes after the company's Venus Bulk Fill composite was awarded a four-star rating from dental product rating company Reality Research Lab earlier this month.
