Quintiles ranked among best multinational employers

Quintiles has been ranked at number 25 in an inaugural list of the world's best multinational workplaces compiled by the Great Place to Work Institute.

The biopharmaceutical services company was selected from more than 350 multinational firms that have recently participated in the institute's best workplaces list selection processes.

As one of the top 25, its achievement was announced during a reception at the New York Stock Exchange last week.

Chief administrative officer Mike Mortimer described the accolade as "very special" for Quintiles, as it is based on direct feedback from employees.

He commented: "To be named among the top 25 is a tribute to the dedication of our exceptional people around the globe."

The top five companies in the list were Microsoft, SAS, NetApp, Google and FedEx Express.

Quintiles was one of several pharmaceutical and medical firms to make the top 25, along with Medtronic, Roche and Novo Nordisk.
