Welch Allyn to showcase new innovations at Medica event

14th October 2011

Welch Allyn has announced plans to showcase a range of its newest connected solutions offerings for medical practices at an upcoming medical conference.

The company will attend the 2011 Medica International Trade Fair and Congress in Dusseldorf in order to demonstrate platform-based devices that are able to efficiently gather accurate patient data and transmit it to an electronic medical record.

Among the offerings will be a newly introduced configurable system that combines traditional physical assessment instruments with cutting-edge vital signs documentation technology, which aid patient care and clinical decision-making.

Pascal Gand, vice-president for global strategic marketing at Welch Allyn, said there is presently a rising demand for connected and configurable solutions among healthcare providers worldwide.

He added: "We will showcase platform-based solutions that offer greater efficiency and more configurability options to help shape the future of healthcare delivery beyond traditional approaches to connect, manage and share patient information."

Earlier this month, the company expanded its capabilities by completing the acquisition of Trimline Medical Products.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800759197-ADNFCR
