Bausch and Lomb utilises iMANY contract performance solution

Bausch and Lomb is to improve the efficiency of its operations utilising a new contract performance solution from business software provider iMANY.

The medical technology firm has gone live with the first phase of a full suite adoption to the iMANY ContractSphere v7 strategic software platform, which utilises open and modular service-oriented architecture to aid Bausch and Lomb's strategic planning.

Functions that the new system will encompass include contract authoring, rebates and chargebacks, data validation, government pricing and regulatory compliance.

Lisa Glazer, director for contracts at Bausch and Lomb, noted that the company has been able to extract numerous benefits from its partnership with iMANY, which began in 1998.

"Moving to the full suite of ContractSphere software supports our strategic plans for continued growth and success by providing an integrated solution that manages the entire contract lifecycle process," she said.

Last month, the company announced that it has acquired an option to purchase Technolas Perfect Vision, a developer of innovative ophthalmology laser technology.
