Virgo Health adds two more education team members

Virgo Health has expanded its health education business unit further with the appointments of two new team members.

Jenny Szkolar has been hired from KnowledgePoint360 subsidiary Acumed as a senior medical writer, while Vicky Cadman – formerly of Grey Healthcare – has been named as an account manager.

Ms Szkolar has several years of medical communications industry experience, which she will leverage in order to deliver education programmes for clients including GlaxoSmithKline and Roche.

Having worked in healthcare advertising and clinical research roles in the past, Ms Cadman will be responsible for the accounts of companies such as Takeda and Merz.

Katherine Mantell, editorial director of the Virgo Health educational team, said: "This further expansion of both our scientific and client service teams highlights our ongoing commitment to growing the Virgo Health education business and its range of offerings."

This comes after the firm appointed Robert Stephenson and Rebecca Neil – formerly of Ogilvy Healthworld and GlaxoSmithKline, respectively – to roles on the team last month.
