Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics has announced the introduction of its Syngo Lab Data Manager, a new laboratory management suite that aims to deliver improved efficiency.
The new product incorporates a wide array of pre-analytic and post-analytic functions, including integrated quality control tools, robust autoverification technology and convenient remote connectivity options.
Through its sophisticated device management and quality control applications, it can accelerate turnaround times, improve result quality and seamlessly interface with the laboratory information systems and remote services.
According to the company, the new Syngo offering is ideal for laboratories that are currently being hindered by a reliance on manual processes, limited functionality and data from disparate systems.
Eric Olson, vice-president for informatics and automation at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, said: "We are proud to report that Syngo Lab Data Manager is designed to grow with the lab - so our customers can realise the best return on investment possible."
Earlier this month, the company announced the introduction of LabPro V4.11 and LabPro Connect, a pair of new software tools for use in microbiology testing.
