Cook Medical launches Vista urology education programme

Cook Medical has announced the launch of Vista, a new series of educational programmes designed for urology physicians.

The interactive and collaborative training scheme is part of the company-wide Vista learning programme and will offer clinicians information on Cook products and procedures in order to help improve patient care quality.

Components of the new initiative include thought leadership forums and professional meetings, as well as allowing for more open exchange of clinical data via the OpenDoor Resonance Registry.

This programme has been active in the European market since March 2011 and in the US since May.

Jean-Marc Creissel, global business unit leader for Cook Medical's urology division, said: "With Vista, we are engaging with physicians on a deeper, more impactful level designed in the spirit of true collaboration and partnership."

Last month, the company announced the release of its new endogo HD Portable Endoscopic Imaging System, which includes functions to facilitate collaboration between doctors.
