Bedfont Scientific inaugurates new offices in Kent
Bedfont Scientific has marked the opening of its new offices in Harrietsham, Kent, with a special reception event.
The company is relocating operations to purpose-built premises, which have been created following a three-year restoration of what was originally a Victorian-era coach shed.
Bedfont – which has expanded its workforce in the last 12 months – conducted the official inauguration of the site on July 22nd 2011, with local MP Hugh Robertson having unveiled a commemorative plaque to mark the occasion.
Other attendees of the launch ceremony included Rodd Nelson-Gracie, the deputy mayor of Maidstone, as well as all of the company's key customers and suppliers.
This comes a month after the firm was presented with the best science and/or technology business and SME business of the year accolades at the local Kent Excellence in Business Awards.
Jason Smith, UK sales and marketing manager for the company, said this win was a testament to "our organisation and the strength of our team".
