Haemonetics appoints new chief legal officer

8th August 2011

Haemonetics has announced the appointment of Sandra Jesse as its new chief legal officer and vice-president.

Ms Jesse, an experienced attorney and business executive, will be joining the medical technology company on September 6th 2011 to replace Lisa Lopez, who retired from the post earlier this year.

She arrives at Haemonetics after a spell as executive vice-president and chief legal officer of the US healthcare organisation Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts that reaches back to 1995.

The appointment will also see her become part of the company's executive council and operating committee, giving her responsibility for global compliance issues.

Haemonetics chief executive officer Brian Concannon said: "We are delighted to have someone of her talent and background joining our team."

Earlier this month, the company announced its financial results for the first quarter of its 2011-12 business year, during which it experienced a five percent year-on-year growth in net revenues.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800692703-ADNFCR
