Mediplus prepares to host Pessary Study Days

Mediplus is poised to carry out another cycle of Pessary Study Days in September, focusing on improving best clinical practice.

Led by Urogynae nurse specialist Lesley Hanson, the events around the UK will demonstrate to healthcare professionals how to size, fit and evaluate The Practical Pessary.

The Mediplus product is used as a conservative management option for people suffering from urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.

As well as instructions on the use of The Practical Pessary, the sessions will offer suggestions on troubleshooting, follow-up regimes and management strategies.

The Mediplus workshops will be in Glasgow, Liverpool, Birmingham, Bristol and London on September 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th respectively.

According to the firm, some of the group activities will be especially useful for clinicians treating women suffering from the conditions.

Last month, Mediplus was mentioned on the Royal College of Nursing website for its Non-invasive Bladder Analysis for Men technology.
