Heraeus reports strong study performance for iBOND Self Etch
Heraeus's iBOND Self Etch product has achieved excellent results in a three-year study conducted by researchers in the US.
Experts from the Center for Dental Research at the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, California, gave the all-in-one adhesive top marks in several categories, including anatomic form, retention and surface stain.
The product also impressed for postoperative sensitivity and secondary caries, and matched the results of the long-proven etch & rinse system GLUMA Comfort Bond + Desensitizer in terms of colour match, marginal adaptation and many other factors.
Commenting on the study, Heraeus said: "These clinical findings verify once more that contemporary self-etching adhesives combine easy application with excellent adhesive properties, even in comparison to a proven etch & rinse adhesive."
Last month, the company announced Venus Diamond Flow had gained high marks in a clinical study conducted by experts at the University of Brescia in Italy that focused on the product's clinical and aesthetic performance.
