TTP LabTech marks tenth anniversary of comPOUND

TTP LabTech is marking the tenth anniversary of its automated modular microtube store comPOUND this year.

Utilising pneumatic technology and specialist sample processing software, the system provides secure storage of chemical and biological compound libraries, while letting users easily pick out individual tubes.

Since debuting a decade ago, the scope of the comPOUND sample management family has expanded significantly with products such as the comPILER microplate storage system, comPANION remote delivery tool and the comSTACKER and comMOTION rack handling systems.

Jas Sanghera, commercial director of TTP LabTech, said: "TTP LabTech has always been at the cutting edge of innovative laboratory workflow solutions and comPOUND has been a great development for us."

The company showcased the further benefits of its product at the European Lab Automation exhibition in Hamburg, which took place last week.

This event was the first of its kind to take place, with TTP LabTech acting as a founding sponsor.
