SonoSite appoints two new senior managers

30th June 2011

SonoSite has announced that Jack Sparacio and Matthew Damron are joining its senior management team as the company seeks to improve its future growth prospects.

Mr Sparacio – the former president, chief executive officer and owner of Plastic Engineering and Development – has been named chief operating officer, while communications veteran Mr Damron becomes global chief marketing officer.

Both newly appointed managers have expressed confidence that the company is on a strong trajectory for future growth.

SonoSite noted that the appointments have been funded by organic savings, which means that it has been able to strengthen its corporate leadership without incurring extra operating expenses.

Kevin Goodwin, SonoSite's president and chief executive officer, said: "We expect to step up our marketing execution and also immediately improve operating efficiency as I anticipate both gentlemen will hit the ground running."

According to data from the firm's Q1 financial report for 2010, SonoSite was able to exceed internal fiscal forecasts during the period for the fifth consecutive quarter.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800607283-ADNFCR
