Reckitt Benckiser launches new painkiller Nuromol

Reckitt Benckiser is launching a new over-the-counter painkiller product in the UK that combines the effects of two active ingredients.
Nuromol is now being sold through UK pharmacies and is the first clinically proven product released in this country to combine ibuprofen and paracetamol into a single tablet.
Both of these compounds are well-established in the market but work to combat pain in different ways, with Nuromol having been designed to take advantage of this and deliver stronger results than either agent on its own.
The manufacturer is recommending the new drug to those suffering from intense migraine and period pains, or for dental patients who have just undergone a tooth extraction.
Trevor Gore, training manager for healthcare at Reckitt Benckiser, said: "Nuromol is available without a prescription in pharmacies across the country."
According to the firm's most recent financial report, Reckitt Benckiser generated 2.28 billion pounds in the first quarter of 2011, up by 15 percent year on year.
