Steris to showcase new product range at APIC conference

Steris has announced plans to demonstrate a number of its newest hygiene and disinfectant products at the forthcoming Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) annual education conference.

The company will attend the Baltimore event to demonstrate offerings such as the new System 1E liquid chemical sterilant processing unit, which is able to deliver 23-minute turnaround of heat-sensitive critical and semi-critical devices.

Other products on display will include the Resert XL HLD high-level disinfectant and OmniFoam dispenser, while it will also discuss matters relating to the use of products of this kind in low-temperature processing and the safety issues involved.

The company said: "Steris makes a difference in healthcare by providing high quality products, exceptional services and distinctive expertise to support best practices for infection preventionists and their programmes."

This comes after Steris demonstrated many of the same products at the recent 2011 SGNA Course, as well as its Reliance EPS endoscope processing system and Prolystica enzymatic pre-soak and cleaner.
