Advanced Medical Solutions has expressed confidence that its 2011 financial performance is on target to meet expectations.
Ahead of its annual general meeting taking place this week, chairman Dr Don Evans has stated that the "good start" to the year highlighted by the company in March 2011 is continuing.
He noted that the firm is progressing well with the rebranding and repositioning of its ActivHeal brand, while the growth of its foam business and the upgrading of its processes and materials are continuing apace.
Meanwhile, its efforts to establish its LiquiBand brand in the US are also being met with success, with the company's North American partners reporting quarter-on-quarter growth in end user sales.
"The board is pleased to confirm that trading is in line with current market expectations for the full year 2011 and we remain confident about the long-term prospects for the group," said Dr Evans.
This comes after Advanced Medical Solutions opened a new UK facility in Cheshire earlier this year, which features expanded manufacturing capabilities and laboratory space.
