Procter and Gamble’s Oral-B details BDA Conference success

25th May 2011

Procter and Gamble's Oral-B brand has highlighted the positive developments following its attendance of the recent 2011 British Dental Association (BDA) Conference.

The dental products business, which was the Diamond sponsor of the event, occupied two stands at the conference, providing attendees with an insight into its ongoing research and development operations, reports Dentistry.co.uk.

During the symposium, a July 1st 2011 launch date was announced for its Pro-Expert toothpaste, while new improvements to the mechanical plaque removal system Triumph 5000 were announced.

In addition, a number of complimentary 30-minute continuous professional development (CPD) sessions were provided by the company.

Razi Hyder of Oral-B said: "Prevention is our passion and we recognise the importance of the profession in delivering this message to the public. We're also committed to providing CPD to all."

Platinum sponsors of the BDA Conference included GlaxoSmithKline, Colgate-Palmolive and Johnson and Johnson, while Philips' Sonicare range was listed as a Gold sponsor.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800556851-ADNFCR
