Ark Therapeutics has published its interim management statement for the year to date, expressing satisfaction with the development of its business during the period.
During the opening months of 2011, the medical technology firm has been able to complete the sale of the majority of its woundcare business to Crawford Healthcare, meeting one of the key goals of its September 2010 strategic restructuring plan.
The period has also seen the firm experience increased interest in the use of its bio-manufacturing facility in Kuopio, Finland, an asset that the company is keen to exploit more fully.
Meanwhile, progress is also being made in the development of various products in its pipeline, while several key executive appointments have been made.
Martyn Williams, chief executive officer of Ark, said: "We have seen real progress across all our activities and believe we are well-placed to deliver on the remaining objectives we have set ourselves for this year."
This comes in the same month that the company held its annual general meeting, during which all resolutions being voted on were passed.
