BDA renews partnership with Nature Publishing Group

The British Dental Association (BDA) has announced that it has renewed its deal with Nature Publishing Group (NPG) for the printing of the dental organisation's official journals.
Continuing a partnership that has been ongoing since 1997, the new deal will see NPG continue to publish the British Dental Journal, BDA News, Evidence-Based Dentistry, Launchpad and Vital until 2019.
The groups' working arrangement sees NPG collaborating with BDA editors and managers to conduct production, advertising, marketing and hosting services for the publications.
Peter Ward, chief executive of the BDA, said its journals and magazines play a vital role in keeping members informed of the latest developments in the sector.
"The high-quality suite of printed publications we produce with NPG is a vital part of achieving that and we look forward to continuing this partnership," he explained.
Earlier this month, the trade body announced the election of Dr Janet Clarke as its 125th president, a role she will take up this week.
