Fleishman-Hillard named pan-European consultancy of the year

Fleishman-Hillard has been named as 2011's pan-European consultancy of the year by the respected industry publication the Holmes Report.
The public relations sector newsletter presented Fleishman-Hillard with the title based on its strong year-on-year growth, with the media firm having expanded its staff, capabilities, global reach and client base since 2009.
This is the second year in a row Fleishman-Hillard has won this title, making it the first company ever to retain the award for two consecutive years.
Paul Holmes, founder of the Holmes Report, said the judging panel was considering bestowing the accolade on a different company to "share the wealth", but concluded that Fleishman-Hillard's growth was "too impressive to ignore".
John Saunders, the agency's regional president of Europe and Africa, said: "This is a proud moment, not only for our team in Europe, but for our entire firm."
Earlier this month, it was announced that Mr Saunders will be taking on additional responsibility for the company's UK and African operations following the departure of Kevin Bell.
