Sirona launches new inFire HTC furnace

Sirona is launching a new high-temperature furnace for use in the computer-aided design and manufacturing production of dental materials.

The new inFire HTC is a fast-acting device that reduces the time taken by the sintering process for zirconium oxide frameworks by up to 75 percent, allowing restorations of five-unit bridges to be sintered in 90 minutes.

It is designed to be user-friendly and customisable, with its regular programs preset for use with sinterable ceramic materials from Sirona and other leading manufacturers, including Ivoclar Vivadent.

In addition, its shorter heating and cooling times offer energy efficiency benefits, as does its ability to sinter overnight via a timer function.

A Sirona statement said: "inFire HTC speed is the fast high-temperature furnace from Sirona that perfectly complements the inLab system with its high productivity."

In September 2010, the company launched a new range of LED lamps specifically intended for dental surgeries, which offer brighter and more natural lighting.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800360355-ADNFCR
