Mast-distributed Hain products to switch to downloadable instructions

Mast has announced the Hain LifeSciences products for which it acts as a UK distributor are to introduce downloadable instruction sheets.
All Hain-developed GenoType, GenoQuick and GXT products sold by Mast from January 15th 2011 onwards will not include a hard copy package insert of the instructions for use, in compliance with environmental policies.
Instead, users will be able to download an electronic copy of the directions via a Hain website by entering in the lot number of the product they have purchased.
Mast explained that this system will ensure that users will receive instructions that are appropriate to the specific item they have purchased and will take into account subsequent test procedure modifications.
It also noted that certain offerings, including the GenoType DNA Isolation Kit and GenoLyse device, will continue to utilise hard copies.
In September 2010, Mast attended the UK industry conference Microbe in Sheffield, where it demonstrated the new GenoType CDiff test from Hain.
